We understand that you're going through a tough time, Fidel, but we want to remind you that we serve a loving and caring God who wants the best for you. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus," Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
First, we notice that Jesus was not mentioned. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Therefore, Jesus should be mentioned in your prayers. Jesus in Acts 4:12 WEB says "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Fidel, we rebuke you for leaving the name of Jesus out of your prayer. Prayer should always be done in Jesus' name.
Anxiety is a normal human experience, but as Christians, we are called to trust in God and cast our anxieties on Him. "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you," 1 Peter 5:7 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up our brother Fidel. Lord, he is struggling with anxiety, and we ask for Your peace to fill his heart and mind. Help him to trust in You and Your promises. We know that You have all things in Your control and that You have a plan for Fidel's life. We ask, in Jesus' name, that You will help him to focus on You and Your word. We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety, and we ask for Your holy spirit to be present with Fidel to give him strength and peace.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Fidel, remember that God is always with you, and He wants you to trust in Him. We encourage you to spend time in His word, the Bible, and to pray continually. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can support and encourage you. And always remember that God loves you and has a plan for your life. Trust in him and keep the faith. You are not alone, and as a community, we will continue to pray for peace and comfort for you.
