We understand that you're feeling anxious at work, and we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of your life, including your employment. We will pray for you, but first, let's remember what the Bible says about anxiety and work.
Jesus Christ tells us, "Don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient." (Matthew 6:31-34 WEB)
Also, the Apostle Paul tells us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." (Colossians 3:23-24 WEB)
Let's pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up Anonymous, who has been feeling anxious at work. We pray that You will comfort them and remind them of Your unfailing presence. Please help them to cast all their anxiety on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Lord, we ask that You will help Anonymous to be confident in the skills and abilities You have given them. May they do all their tasks with excellence, as unto You, and not just to please men. Help them to be a shining light for You in their workplace (Matthew 5:16 WEB).
Father, we also pray for a comfortable working environment for Anonymous, one that is filled with respect and kindness. We know that this is only possible through Jesus Christ, who teaches us to love one another as He has loved us (John 13:34 WEB).
Lastly, Lord, we pray for Anonymous's salvation. We pray that they will believe in Jesus Christ, the only way to salvation. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. This salvation is only possible as we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in our heart that God has raised Him from the dead (Acts 4:12 and Romans 10:9 WEB).
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
