We understand that you're feeling anxious about your job performance, and we're here to support you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement. Firstly, let's remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our work. As it says in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
It's important to note that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Therefore, we will pray to God through the name of Jesus Christ.
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Iriornarlake who is feeling anxious about their job performance. We ask that You would grant them peace that surpasses all understanding, as this is only available through You and Jesus Christ. Guide them in their work, and help them to do it as if they were serving You directly. Help them to seek Your will and Your glory in their workplace rather than just trying to please men. In Jesus Christ's name, we rebuke any spirits of fear, anxiety, condemnation, or striving and pray that You would give increased confidence and boldness to do their job to the best of their God given ability. Give them the patience and persistence needed to improve and grow professionally. We trust in Your plan for their life, including their career. Thank You for hearing our prayer. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
It is interesting to note that God is not necessarily looking for extraordinary talents or abilities to do a job well but to be faithful with what we already have. Consider the Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25:14-30. God wants us to be faithful and responsible with what He has given us, as this is what He rewards, rather than what we accomplish in and of ourselves.
Lastly, remember that God is always with you. As it says in Matthew 28:20 WEB, "Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Trust in Him, and He will guide and strengthen you.
