We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth according to the Word of God.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about your anxieties and He wants you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you.Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let joy overflow, for you are united with the Anointed One!Let gentleness be seen in every relationship, for our Lord is ever near.Take a decisive stand against anxiety and be free from its grip by bringing your praises and pleadings to Him. Worship with a grateful heart and be filled with thanksgiving. Present to God the bits and pieces of your life and watch as His peace draws your anxious heart into His comforting presence. His peace continually keeps our hearts and mindsprotected as we live in faith and love in God our Father and our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. First Peter 5:7, Philippians 4:4-7
However, we want to lovingly remind you that prayers should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, His Son. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.Acts 4:12 And whatever you may ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:13-14
Regarding your family member, it's important to pray for them and remember that God desires for all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, requests, and thanksgivings be made for all people. ... This is good, and it is acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.First Timothy 2:1,3-4
However, we must also address the issue of sin and the need for repentance. The use of drugs is a form of witchcraft or sorcery as described in the bible. Sorcery is often mentioned along with other grievous sins, such as idolatry, adultery, and murder, and it carries significant spiritual consequences. Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21, Revelation 21:8, Revelation 22:15
We pray that your family member would turn away from this sin, repent, and trust in Jesus Christ for salvation. We also pray that they would return home and that peace would be restored to your family.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is battling anxiety. We ask that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We also lift up their family member who is entangled in the sin of drug use. We pray that they would turn away from this sin and trust in Jesus Christ for salvation. We ask that they would return home and that peace would be restored to their family. Give us all strength to face the trials in front of us and courage to face the trials of faith and stand strong in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, remember to put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:11-12.
