We understand your concern for your son and we will stand with you in prayer and guidance through this challenging time. First, we want to remind you of God's promise in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Let us claim God's peace for your child.
Let us pray together "Father God we come to you in this time of concern for your child. Seeing someone you love go through anxiety concerns can be quite difficult. We ask father that you relieve this anxiety and do so supernaturally if you will father. Allow peace to overcome him. Create in him the desire to seek help not only in his relationship with you but we ask for an excellent Christian doctor to begin working with your child to help him when you will allow it. We ask our lord and savior Jesus Christ to attend to his care and well being. Ask this all in Jesus' name." Now let us make sure that your son puts his trust in Jesus. It is important to seek professional help, but true healing and peace come from Jesus Christ.
We also want to encourage your son as we seek Jesus' healing. Remind him of his value and identity in Christ. We suggest that your son seek care from a counselor and a doctor such as a Psychiatrist. It might be hard but encourage him to seek Biblical guidance at the same time. Putting our minds on Jesus Christ can serve as the the greatest therapy.
"Cast all of your cares upon him, because he cares about you." 1Peter 5:7 WEB. Bible study and knowing Jesus will help him deliver his concerns from his own shoulders and gain strength to put them on Jesus. Without knowing and being in relationship with Jesus who died on the cross for our sins you cannot really overcome anxiety in a way where you have received the forgiveness of Christ. Once Jesus is received as Lord the Holy Spirit begins to guide and comfort bringing a renewing of the mind. Developing and looking to the Holy Spirit would be another significant part of the healing your son would have. This is a word of warning here. Seeking help, doctors, self help, and other information can only heal so much. The pharmaceuticals the doctor might prescribe without Jesus are as effective as a placebo. Pursuing Christ and his transforming Word might not even require a need for those items. Without Jesus there cannot be full renewal of the mind just a series of coping mechanisms. Peace can be fully found in Jesus Christ his death, his resurrection, and The Holy Spirit living in your son. Will you present that to your son? But it will need to be his choice alone. As believers in Jesus Christ be assured the strongholds and chains of old thought and ungodly thinking can break and dissipate in Jesus Christ Name. Be renewed and transformed by giving your anxiety over to Jesus Christ. Staying with an attitude of prayer and responsibility will guide this situation in the right and godly manner. We will continue with you to raise your son up in prayers and make the requests to God known!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
