Furith, we understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about your anxieties. In 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, it is written, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." This is a clear indication of God's interest in our emotional well-being. However, it is very important to understand God's plan for dealing with our anxiety. As believers, our response to God is to come to him in belief.
In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, we read, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Notice two things from this verse. One is that you should present your requests to God and not to us or anything else. We are responding to you based on God's will mentioned in the Bible. The second and most important thing, we must specifically come to God in the name of Jesus Christ to receive that peace from God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God that surpasses all understanding. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. It says in Acts 4:10-12, "in the name of Jesus... be it known... there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
As a first step, pray to Jesus Christ confessing your sins and accepting Him as your personal savior. It says in Romans 10:9-10, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."
Notice from Romans 10:9-10, the use of the word confess. To confess means to agree with God that you did sin. This is especially important in anxiety. We have to agree with God our true anxiety and cause of anxiety. Then, ask Jesus into your heart to cast out that anxiety and give you peace. This process begins with the inner belief and then followed spoken words. If you have questions about being saved, please let us know.
Keep in mind the importance of meditating on God's Word during this challenging time. In Psalm 119:165 WEB, "Those who love your law have great peace. Nothing causes them to stumble." Anxiety causes people to stumble. God does not want you to stumble or fall. God wants us to come to God, be concerned about our anxieties, and be saved. God has great plans for you according to his will and in his time.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You lifting up Furith, asking for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Send Your Holy Spirit to comfort them and also give them godly strength and wisdom to deal with the situations causing anxiety. We rebuke the spirt of anxiety and fear, demanding them to be silent and flee in Jesus name. Expose any unresolved issues in Furith's life that may be contributing to this anxiety. Bring healing and wholeness to Furith. We ask for peace from God through Jesus Christ. In Christ's name we pray."
