We understand that you're feeling anxious at work and desire confidence, competence, and a respectful environment. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of your life, including your work environment. It's important to remember that His Word "gives us great boldness and fills us with confidence" We must be sure to find that confidence in Him, as He is the only source of true peace, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest...for I am humble and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls.."
However, we want to remind you that God is not just concerned with our comfort, but also with our holiness. Make sure you are not seeking confidence in and of yourself or apart from Christ. The Bible says, " For we are His workmanship, we are created for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we can walk in them.."
Now, let's pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up Anonymous, asking that You will help them deal with their anxiety, remembering Your promise that You will deliver us from all our fears so that they can focus on the work that You have given them. We ask You also to energize them along with everyone in their workplace to do their jobs excellently, as working for You, and not for men. "Whatever we do, work at it with all of our heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.." Help everyone in their workplace treat each other with respect and dignity. Give Anonymous the wisdom to be a shining light for You, exemplifying what the psalmist wrote, so that others might see their good deeds and glorify You. Teach them to handle conflict in a way that solves problems and reduces tension and stress. Help them encourage and support their co-workers though they may not yet be followers of Jesus Christ, that they might come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ likened to repentance from the dead and trusting in Him as Lord and Savior. For there is no one under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. We ask these things of You, our Heavenly Father, in Jesus Christ's name and for Your glory. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on God's Word daily, especially before going to work. Also, remember "Fret not, for evil doers will be cut off, and those who wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.." We trust that God will answer our prayers and help you through the truth of the Bible.
