We understand that you're feeling anxious at work, and we're here to support you in prayer and to provide biblical encouragement. First, let's remember that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our work and the emotions we experience. The Bible tells us, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God" (Philippians 4:6 WEB).
Anxiety can be a signal that we are trying to be self-sufficient. To rely on God and cast our anxieties on Him, we must first humble ourselves. "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:6-7 WEB).
It's wonderful that you desire a comfortable working environment where colleagues respect each other. This is an opportunity to be a light and a positive influence in your workplace. "Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 5:16 WEB). Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You lifting up ###, asking for Your peace and confidence to replace any anxiety they are experiencing at work. We pray that You will help them to humble themselves and truly rely on You through this process. Help them cast their cares on You. We ask that You will provide a comfortable working environment for ###, one where respect for one another is evident. Guide them in being a light and a positive influence in their workplace, as doing so brings glory to You.
We also pray that You will give ### the wisdom and discernment to safely complete every task and assignment to their best ability, not leaning on their own understanding, but in all their ways acknowledging You (Proverbs 3:5).
