We understand that you're facing a challenging situation, Lanchemai, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, thank you for praying in Jesus' name. It's important to remember that our prayers are only heard by the Father because of our faith in Jesus. According to Romans 8:26-28
For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now. Not only them, but ourselves also, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for adoption, the redemption of our body. For we were saved in hope, but hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for that which he sees? But if we hope for that which we don't see, we wait for it with patience.
Believe it or not, our anxiety about the future can actually be a blessing by recalling us to wait patiently for God's goodness.
We must also remember that when we are in a trial of any kind we must consider it joy. Because when our faith is tested then we may become strong and steadfast. Romans 5:3-4 says:
By the way, we have been tried before and we must have been successful. We need to also glorify in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope.
Having said this, we do need to keep in mind that the mind of man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps. Proverbs 16:9 We have learned that through every single trial we have faced, including yours, that if we hope for something that we don't know whether it will happen or not, as when a landlord accepts a rent payment late, then we are doing a good thing, and God will work it all out for our good.
We don't know whether the landlord is doing the right thing, nor are we paying the rent on time when we have promised to pay it on time. In all things we should not be trying to obtain something that we have promised to pay on time. It is never right to knowingly delay a legal obligation to another person or entity to our own benefit when we have knowledge that we can and should have planned for our needs. In other words we have a duty to pay our just debts on time. We must not use them for our own needs but should have planned ahead as Romans 13:7-8 says
Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor. Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
We have not fulfilled the law it we don't plan on and pay our obligations on time. Nevertheless, our God forgives and is merciful day by day. Your anxiety may stem from a lack of trust in the Lord. According to Proverbs 12:25, "Anxiety in a man's heart weighs it down, but a good word cheers it up." Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Lanchemai. We know that she is worried and focusing on what she has no control over rather than Your goodness and mercy which is new every morning. Thank you that Your mercies are new every morning when we rise. Lamentations 3:22-23. She's surrounded by Your love and grace in abundance and we know when we delight ourselves in You, You give us the desires of our heart. Psalm 37:4 First help Lanchemai repent of her time management and possible spending habits. Open her eyes up to how she can be financially free with the income she has and what she has been wasting her money on.
But will with the singing and will make sure we are to delight ourselves in You. As the old saying goes. I do not know what the future holds, but I know Who holds my future. Give Lanchemai clarity and peace of mind. Help her focus on the things she needs to do and make change to. Give her strength, courage, wisdom, and patience to get through this difficult time. Expose the sin in this situation. Help her to learn from it and correct it in her life. Help her to faithfully make payments on time. It is not the Christian way to risk shame on the name of Jesus Christ by not putting an employer's or landlord's needs higher than our needs
Guide her as they trust in you, and eliminate all anxiety and fear by having to regularly pay late. You are the God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that she asks or thinks, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20 Help her to open her eyes to the sin that caused this request for prayer. So many things could be causing Lanchemai not to be paying this rent payment on time. May Your will be done in her life and this situation be resolved.
In Jesus' name, we do pray, trusting that you have heard our prayers and will be merciful to Lanchemai.
