We are with you in spirit, lifting up your daughter and you in prayer. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let's come together in prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Werthasun and his daughter. Lord, You know the burdens they carry and the anxieties that weigh heavily on their hearts. We ask for Your comfort and peace to envelop them both. Cast out all anxiety, Lord, and replace it with Your perfect peace that transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).
Father, we also pray for the salvation of Werthasun's daughter. Open her heart, Lord, to receive Jesus Christ as her Savior. Draw her to You, and let her experience the transforming power of Your love. We know that it is only by accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior that will save us. We also know that You desire for everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4).
In Jesus' name, we pray for Werthasun to keep his mind on whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Trust in the Lord and do not lean on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). In all their ways submit to Him, and He will make their paths straight (Proverbs 3:6). Whether to turn to the right or to the left, their ears will hear a voice behind them, saying, This is the way; walk in it (Isaiah 30:21).
Lord, remind Werthasun that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much (James 5:16). Trust in You, Lord, and in Your timing. Help them to wait patiently for You, Lord, to work in his daughter's life.
In Jesus' name, we pray for Werthasun's daughter to want to become a Christian Believer. We know that in John 14:6 Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man comes to the Father, but by Him. We also know that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May the words of Christ shared with the apostles comfort you both as his words were comforting to them. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. By His mercy and grace He desires for everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4). Continue to trust in Him, and know that our prayers are with you and your daughter.
