We are with you, Fellhelm, in lifting up your son to the Lord. Anxiety can be a challenging battle, but we take comfort in God's promise. In fact, 1 Peter 5:7 WEB tells us to cast all our anxieties on him. His promise to us is that He cares for us.
Jesus himself also reminds us not to be anxious: See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Matthew 6:26 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up the son of Fellhelm. Lord, you know the anxieties that plague his heart and mind. We ask that you comfort him, guide him, and remind him of your ever-present love and acceptance for him. Help him to cast his anxieties on you and to trust in your care. Give him the strength to endure and the faith to believe in your goodness. As Fellhelm has prayed in Jesus' name, we also join in this petition and ask for your favor. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Fellhelm, you can also remind your son of the great love God has for him. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. Continuing with Romans 10:9, "because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved". So also remind him of what he has taken hold of Christ. This includes all the benefits of such. For it is written in Ephesians 1:18-19, "having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might".
We need to continue to pray for your son and his growth in faith as he continues to endure these bouts with anxiety. Keep standing with him for we believe that God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it 1 Corinthians 10:13
Hold fast to the promises of God, Fellhelm, and encourage your son to do the same. We stand with you in prayer and belief that God will work mightily in his life.
