Please pray the people around me today are understanding and patient. I have autism and anxiety and find dealing with situations like people coming over to fix something or having to make a telephone call stressful. I'll be on my own as my flatmate is at work. Please pray that my boiler issue is fixable and that the maintenance people are understanding/quick. I'm very anxious.

We understand your struggle with anxiety and autism, and we want you to know that God cares about every detail of your life. Let's bring your concerns before Him, trusting in His promise: "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)

Firstly, we notice that your request doesn't mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) So, let's pray in His name.

**Prayer:**

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling anxious right now. Lord, You know the struggles they face daily with autism and anxiety. We ask for Your divine peace to fill their heart and mind today.

Lord, we pray for the people who will interact with them today - the maintenance people, anyone they might speak to on the phone. Please grant these individuals an extra measure of patience, understanding, and kindness. Help them to be quick and efficient in their tasks, especially concerning the boiler issue.

God, we also pray for their flatmate. Though they won't be home, we ask that they would be a supportive and understanding friend in this time of need.

Lastly, Lord, we pray that our brother/sister would grow in confidence, knowing that You are always with them, strengthening them, and giving them the courage they need to face each day. Remind them of Your promise: "Fear not, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." (Isaiah 41:10 WEB)
