We understand your struggle with anxiety, Sadthy, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement. In Jesus' name, we stand with you.
Firstly, remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). When you feel overwhelmed, claim this promise, knowing that God's perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18 WEB).
You've asked for God's guidance, and we are assured in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) to "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and donβt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
It's beautiful to see your thirst for God's guidance and your desire to be filled with His light and love. Jesus promises in John 7:37-38 (WEB), "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink! Out of his belly will flow rivers of living water."
You've acknowledged your redemption through Jesus Christ, and indeed, we are redeemed not by our own works, but by His grace (Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB). Let this truth bring you peace.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we lift Sadthy to you, asking for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Help them to trust in You, to lean not on their own understanding, but to acknowledge You in all their ways. Fill them with Your light and love, and let them experience the joy of Your salvation. In Jesus' mighty name, our Savior, we pray. Amen."
Keep your focus on Jesus, Sadthy. He is the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB), and He will see you through this season of anxiety.
