Anxiety realisation

Not just a prayer request, but spiritual guidance please. I suffer from anxiety and PTSD. I've been finding it hard to pray and be connected to God. I've just had a sudden thought and realisation. I'm feeling more anxious about everything because I'm no longer praying and giving it to God. So I'm working on that strain of thought. How do I start to give my anxieties to God? Some of them feel so small and insignificant to pass onto Him, even if they are causing anxiety.

Firstly, let's address the power of prayer in Jesus' name. It's crucial to remember that Jesus is our mediator, and it's through His name that we have access to God. As it's written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) So, let's ensure we're praying in His name, as Jesus himself taught us, "Most certainly, I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." (John 16:23 WEB)

Now, let's tackle the feelings of anxiety. It's important to remember that God wants us to come to Him with all our concerns, big or small. Even Jesus, in His humanity, prayed to the Father, showing us the importance of communing with God in all things. In Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up our ### who is struggling with anxiety and PTSD. Lord, help them to cast all their cares on You, knowing that You care for them. Give them the strength and courage to approach You with every concern, no matter how small. Start by writing down all your anxieties, then pray about each one, giving them to God. Be persistent in your prayers, and trust that God hears you. As you grow in your prayer life, you'll find your connection with God strengthening, and His peace will fill your heart and mind.
