Anxiety Over Work

Please pray my anxiety calms down, I go through this every work morning. I dread getting out of bed and going into work. Please let my anxiety not overpower me so much that it ruins my day. Let everything go okay. Thank you.

Osvelis, we understand that you're struggling with anxiety about work, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our work and the anxieties we face. In 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB), it says, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Jesus also tells us in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Osvelis. Lord, you know the anxieties they face each morning about work. We ask that you fill Osvelis with your peace that passes all understanding, according to Philippians 4:6-7. Help them to cast all their worries on you, knowing that you care for them. Guide Osvelis throughout their workday, let everything go okay, and help them to find rest in you.

Osvelis, as you face each morning, remember that God is with you. He promises in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."

Also, ensure that you are trusting in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It's only through His name that we have access to God's presence and power. If you haven't already, put your faith in Him for salvation. As it says in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

May the Lord bless you, strengthen you, and give you peace.

We want to remind you of Psalm 55:22 (WEB), "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never allow the righteous to be shaken." Let's trust that God will help you through each morning and workday, just as He has promised.

Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, we lift up Osvelis to You. Help them to trust in You, to cast their anxieties on You, and to find Your peace that surpasses understanding. Guide them through their workday, help them to find rest in You, and let everything go okay. In Jesus' Name, we pray. Amen."

Heavenly Father, we lift up Your child who is struggling with anxiety every morning as they face the day ahead. Lord, You know the fears and worries that weigh heavily on their heart, and we ask for Your calming presence to be with them. Your Word reminds us, *"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God" (Philippians 4:6).* We present this request to You, asking that You calm their anxious thoughts and fill them with Your peace.

Father, as they prepare to start their workday, we pray that the dread and fear they feel will be replaced with confidence and assurance in Your protection. Your Word says, *"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7).* We pray that they are able to cast their anxiety upon You, trusting in Your care and love.

Lord, let today be a day filled with Your peace and grace. We ask that You guide them through their work with ease, letting everything go smoothly. May their anxiety not overpower them, but instead, let Your strength sustain them. Your Word declares, *"The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1).* May this truth anchor them and give them courage to face the day.

We trust in Your promises, Lord, and pray that each morning becomes easier as they lean on You. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
