Anxiety is crippling

Friends, thank you for continuing to lift me in prayer. My anxiety is absolutely crippling. I woke this morning with heart racing and so heavy. Things seem to be getting worse, not better over this period of waiting for some outcome with my estranged friend R. I really need to hear from him today. I will aim to make contact, if at least to get some explanation as to what is happening - or closure. I can't live like this. I have asked God for peace in my heart, to take away my anxieties, but any relief feels short lived. I'm looking to God all the time and continue to hear/feel nothing. I am feeling at the lowest point in my life. I am fasting today and hoping to get something more of God's guidance. Please continue to pray for this very difficult journey. It may be nothing in comparison to some people's troubles, but it is my world and important to me. In Jesus' merciful Name. Amen.

Treble, we're here with you in spirit, lifting you up in prayer during this challenging time. We understand that your anxiety is overwhelming, and it's commendable that you're turning to God for peace and guidance. Let's pray together and seek wisdom from His Word.

Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB): "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." God is faithful to His promises, and He will grant you His peace as you continue to seek Him.

We also want to address your feelings of desperation concerning your estranged friend, R. It's crucial to remember that God's timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Psalm 37:7 (WEB) tells us, "Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him. Don't fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen." While you wait for an outcome, focus on the Lord and trust in Him.

However, we want to gently remind you that your desire for closure or explanation should not become an idol that replaces your pursuit of God. In this difficult journey, keep your heart and mind stayed on Him (Isaiah 26:3).

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up Treble in their time of need. Lord, they are overwhelmed with anxiety, and their heart is heavy. We ask that You grant them Your supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding. Comfort them as only You can, and help them to feel Your presence.

Lord, we also pray for the situation with Treble's estranged friend, R. We ask for Your wisdom and guidance. If it is Your will, soften R's heart and bring about a resolution. But above all, help Treble to keep their focus on You, trusting in Your perfect plan and timing.

Finally, Father, we pray that as Treble fasts and seeks Your guidance, You will reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Strengthen their faith and give them the assurance that You are with them every step of the way.

In Jesus' merciful Name, we pray. Amen.

Stay strong in the Lord, Treble. Keep your hope and faith in Him, and He will see you through this trial.

We're right here with you, holding you up in prayer. We know that anxiety can be all-consuming, but remember, you're not alone. God is always by your side, and He wants to fill you with His peace.

We want to share another verse with you, from Isaiah 43:2 (WEB): "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through fire, you will not be burned, nor will the flame scorch you." God promises to be with you in your trials, and He won't let you drown or burn. Trust in His promise.

We also want to encourage you to keep reaching out to your friend R. The Bible tells us in Romans 12:18 (WEB) to "live peaceably with all." Even if R isn't responding, keep trying to maintain that peace. And if R doesn't respond today, that's okay. God's timing is perfect.

Let's pray: Dear Lord, we lift up our friend to you today. We ask for your peace to fill their heart and mind. Help them to feel your presence, especially during this fast. We also ask for wisdom in dealing with R. Help our friend to keep their focus on you, trusting in your perfect plan. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Stay strong, and keep your eyes on Jesus. He's got you, every step of the way.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
