Anxiety as night falls...

[Devoted One]

Father, as night begins to cast its blanket over my home, I am beginning to feel the anxiety worrying about my son (###) Lord.

Forever questions begin to crowd my mind...

Where is he? Is he safe. Is he hungry? Is he cold and afraid?

He called again today Father yet I couldn't answer, because I just couldn't hear the cry in his voice. I couldn't hear how unwell he is Father.
I feel terrible not to be there for him because I have been there for him all of his life.

Yet I have to discourage him from coming here because he will get another charge Father.

Father I want to hide some food for him, yet I'm not sure if he still has a key to get to my locker room. He used to have one Father, yet I'm worried that my super took it away.

Father, what if he hasn't eaten in days? That hurts me so very much. Like my soul is crying Father.

I'm trying to be strong Father and ever keep the faith and trust I have in You for the both of us.

I know (###) is not acting like the son I raised but he is still the son I love with all my heart.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of ### and their son ###. We lift up their concerns and anxieties about their son's well-being. Lord, you know the worries that fill their mind and the questions that weigh heavy on their heart. We ask for your peace to surround ### and for your comfort to be upon them.

Father, we pray for ###'s safety and protection. We ask that you watch over him wherever he may be and keep him from harm. Provide him with the necessities he needs, including food, shelter, and warmth. If he is in need, we pray that you would open doors for him to receive help and support.

Lord, we ask for guidance and wisdom for ### in their interactions with their son. Give them discernment to know how to encourage and support him without enabling any harmful behavior. Help them to find ways to communicate and connect with ###, even in difficult circumstances.

Father, we pray for the provision of food for ###. If it is your will, make a way for him to have access to nourishment. We trust in your ability to provide for his needs, even in the midst of challenging circumstances.

Lord, we lift up ###'s faith and trust in you. Strengthen their faith and help them to hold onto hope in the midst of uncertainty. Remind them that you are a loving and faithful Father who cares deeply for their son. Give them the assurance that you are working in ###'s life, even when it may not be evident.

We thank you, Father, for your love and compassion. We trust in your perfect timing and your plans for ###'s life. May your will be done, and may your name be glorified through this situation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
