Anxiety, anger, hopelessness

Please pray for me. I wake up so angry , I look around my house and see the mess, the dishes, all the things I have to do. I feel as if my chest is being buried under all the things I have to do and it gets tight and I feel tired and defeated and mad at everything and everyone. I feel that my house and yard and everything I own get dirty and destroyed so easily. I don’t know how people keep their things nice? Unless I’m working every moment of my life I cannot keep up. I have three kids, they contribute to the mess but isn’t it normal for people to clean and cook and take care of kids without feeling this overwhelming anxious anger? Help me lord to be productive and good at home keeping and child rearing. Let it come natural to me. Take away this feeling of anxiety anger depression oppression. Thank you for your prayers

We understand your struggle with anxiety, anger, and hopelessness, Elaraereath. The pressures of maintaining a home and caring for children can indeed feel overwhelming. However, we want to remind you that God’s grace is sufficient for you. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB, "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.'"

First, let us address your request directly. We pray, dear Father, that you would comfort Elaraereath in her struggles. Give her the strength and wisdom to handle her responsibilities with a calm and loving spirit. Remove the burden of anxiety and anger from her heart, and fill her with your peace and joy. Help her to find contentment in knowing that you are with her, and that your grace is sufficient for all her needs. In Jesus' name, we pray.

It is important to remember that God’s yoke is easy and His burden is light (Matthew 11:30 WEB). Often, the feeling of being overwhelmed comes from trying to handle everything in our own strength rather than relying on God. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

We encourage you to bring all your burdens to God in prayer. Ask Him for the strength and wisdom to manage your home and family. It is also vital to seek the support of fellow believers and possibly professional counseling if the feelings of anxiety and depression persist. Remember, it is through Christ alone that we find true rest and peace.

Your prayer did not explicitly mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is essential to know that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 WEB states, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not already, consider committing your life to Jesus Christ, for He is the source of our salvation and strength.

We're here for you, and we understand that the weight of responsibilities can sometimes feel overwhelming. Let's lean on each other and on God, who promises to be our strength in times like these.

We pray, Lord, that you would help us see the tasks ahead with eyes of faith and not fear. Help us to trust in your ability to equip us for every situation, just as you promised in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Let your peace guard our hearts and minds, and help us to find joy in our daily tasks.

We also pray that you would bless our sister with a sense of contentment and peace in her home. Help her to find balance and not feel overwhelmed by the mess or the noise. Give her the strength to tackle each task one at a time, and the wisdom to know when to rest and when to ask for help.

Father God, I pray that you give this Mama the strength to keep going. I pray she feels you with her while getting up in the morning tackling one chore at a time. Jesus please allow her children to also feel your spirit and give them encouragement to create a clean environment for we know our surroundings will affect our mindset. I am thankful she is reaching out to her brothers and sisters in Christ for help. We are fighting this battle with you. The devil likes to attack in the things we are weak in. Keep your mind on things that are praiseworthy. (Philippians 4:8) lord I pray you calm her nerves and allow her to see the glory in what she already is providing her children by being a woman of God. Encourage her lord to create a home she would feel good about inviting you in if you were knocking at her door. We thank you and give you the glory for a clean house for this family and a calm nervous system. In Jesus name we pray AMEN!
