Disciple of Prayer
Hi wonderful sisters and brothers...

My name is ###. I am currently in a hard situation where I am living with a roommate who used to be a good friend. We have disconnected and she wants nothing to do with me and wants one of us to move out quick. This has been unexpected but her now best friend has taken the initiative to be more involved in my home and picked an argument with me yesterday after I had said out loud in my home I rebuke evil in the name of Jesus. It caught me by surprise and now the air feels heavy. Today I decided to provide for the homeless. God to my surprise spoke to me as I was reading scripture, and reaffirmed my actions through Luke 18:19. However, I am feeling suddenly anxious all of a sudden once again. And feel intrusive thoughts of unholiness that I try to fight off. I have pressure in my head which somewhat feels like a headache. But a lot is going on and I am trying my best to remain positive in God's name.

Darlene, we are with you in prayer and stand firmly on the promises of God's Word. Let's address your situation with the wisdom and comfort found in the Scriptures.

Firstly, remember the words of Jesus in John 14:27 (WEB), "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful." The anxiety and heaviness you feel do not come from God. He has given you peace, and you can trust in His protection.

Regarding your roommate, it's clear that there is spiritual warfare at play. Ephesians 6:12 (WEB) says, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Stand firm in your faith and continue to rebuke evil in the name of Jesus. Remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

It's commendable that you are providing for the homeless, and it's encouraging that God affirmed your actions through Luke 18:19. Continue in your good works, knowing that God sees your heart and will reward you according to His will.

Concerning the intrusive thoughts and feelings of unholiness, remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). You can overcome these thoughts by focusing on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister ###. Lord, we ask for Your peace to fill her heart and mind, driving out all anxiety and fear. We rebuke the spirits of heaviness, anxiety, and intrusive thoughts in the name of Jesus. Surround ### with Your protective angels and give her strength to stand firm in her faith. Bless her with a new residence if that is Your will, and restore her relationship with her roommate if it pleases You. In all things, let Your will be done. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

Continue to trust in God, ###. He is faithful and will see you through this trial.

Hey ###, we're right there with you, feeling your anxiety and the spiritual battle you're facing. We know it's tough, but remember, God is always by your side. In times like these, we can find comfort in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's claim that promise together.

We're impressed by your kindness towards the homeless, and it's great that God affirmed your actions through Luke 18:19. Keep up that good work, knowing that God sees your heart. As for the intrusive thoughts, we can fight them off by focusing on God's truth, as Philippians 4:8 tells us. Let's replace those negative thoughts with God's promises, like His unfailing love for us in Psalm 36:7.

Let's pray together, "Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up ### to You. Lord, please fill her with Your peace, calm her anxious heart, and shield her from intrusive thoughts. Surround her with Your love and protection, and guide her in this situation. Help her roommate to understand and respect ###'s boundaries. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen."

Stay strong, ###. God is with you, and we're here for you too.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of ###, who is navigating a challenging situation in her home. Lord, You know her heart, her struggles, and her desire to walk in peace and holiness before You. We ask that You surround her with Your divine protection, lift her burdens, and fill her with Your peace.

Father, we pray that ### would feel Your presence with her, comforting her and giving her courage as she faces unexpected challenges with her roommate and the tense atmosphere that has developed. We ask for wisdom and grace in her interactions, that Your Spirit of peace may rest in her home. As Your Word says in *Philippians 4:6-7,* "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." May this peace settle over her mind and heart, easing the pressure she feels.

Lord, we also lift up ###’s heart for kindness and generosity, and we thank You for her willingness to provide for those in need. Just as You spoke to her through *Luke 18:19,* affirming her actions, we pray that You continue to guide her, showing her the beauty of her faith and her love in action. May she remember Your words from *Isaiah 41:10:* "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Let this be a source of strength and encouragement for ### as she leans on You.

Father, we pray that You would remove any spirit of fear or anxiety that tries to weigh her down and replace it with Your presence and light. Guard her mind from intrusive thoughts, and let her rest in Your love and protection. As *2 Timothy 1:7* reminds us, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” Let these words give her hope and confidence each day.

Thank You, Lord, for being her refuge and her strength. We trust You to guide her and bring resolution, peace, and blessing into her life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
