Anxiety and financial issues

I suffer from anxiety. I was recently hit with some big bills and will be making my mortgage payment 30 days late. That's not enough to be reported, but it does hit me with a late fee.

I am worried the bank will have a problem, even though they never have before when I hit a rough patch. I know I am probably being irrational but I am still worried.

Please pray my phone call with them goes well and that I find relief from chronic anxiety.

However, we also want to remind you that it's crucial to manage your finances wisely. The Bible advises us to owe no one anything, except to love one another (Romans 13:8 WEB). It might be beneficial to seek financial counseling or budgeting advice to help you manage your expenses and avoid late payments in the future.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up ###. Lord, we ask for Your peace to fill their heart and mind, casting out all anxiety. Help them to trust in You fully, knowing that You care for them and will provide for all their needs.

Lord, we also ask for Your favor as ### speaks with the bank. Soften the hearts of those they speak to, and grant them grace and understanding. Help ### to find a resolution to this financial situation, and guide them in managing their finances wisely.

We're here for you, too. We've been there, feeling the weight of anxiety and financial strain. It's like carrying a heavy backpack, isn't it? But remember, Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) He's right there with you, ready to take that backpack and carry it Himself.

We've been praying for you, that God would fill you with His peace, calming your anxious heart. We're asking Him to guide your conversations with the bank, softening hearts and opening doors for understanding. And we're trusting that He'll provide, just as He always has.
