Anxiety and fear of dying

I need prayer. Jesus, do not let me be sick. No heart or vessel disease. Please, help me be well. Pray for sleep. Keep me safe and well. So I dont miss out i Nebu. Amen

Marte, we understand your struggles with anxiety and fear, especially concerning your health and the thought of dying. We come alongside you, seeking God's will together in Jesus' name.

Firstly, we want to encourage you with God's Word. The Bible tells us, "Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)

It's important to remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, "for God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB)

However, we want to lovingly rebuke the focus on the negative. Instead of saying, "Do not let me be sick," let's pray for God's healing and protection. We should claim God's promises in a positive light, trusting in His goodness.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Marte. Lord, You know Marte's struggles with anxiety and fear. We ask for Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard Marte's heart and mind. We pray against any spirit of fear and claim Your promise of power, love, and self-control.

Lord, we pray for Marte's health. We ask for Your healing touch on their body, especially their heart and vessels. We pray for good health and adequate sleep. Keep Marte safe and well, in Jesus' name.

Marte, remember that God loves you and has a plan for your life. Trust in Him, and He will see you through. "For I know the plans that I have for you,” says Yahweh. “Plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB)

Lastly, we noticed you didn't mention Jesus Christ explicitly in your prayer. It's important to remember that it's only through His name that we have access to God. "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!” (Acts 4:12 WEB) If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation.
