Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today on behalf of our dear anonymous friend who is struggling with anxiety and depression. We lift up their burdens to you, knowing that you are the source of true peace and joy. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7 to bring our requests to you with thanksgiving, and we do so now, trusting in your faithfulness.
Lord, we ask that you would pour out your healing and comforting presence upon our friend. You understand their pain and sorrow, for Jesus himself experienced the depths of human suffering. We pray that you would lift the heavy weight of anxiety and depression from their shoulders, replacing it with your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We also ask for physical healing from the pain caused by the previous surgery. You are the Great Physician, and we believe in your power to restore health and wholeness. May your healing touch bring relief and restoration to our friend's body.
Lord, we pray for a renewed sense of happiness and joy in their life. Your Word tells us in Psalm 30:5 that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. We ask that you would bring forth a new season of joy and happiness, filling their heart with your love and peace.
We thank you, Lord, for the privilege of coming before you in prayer. We trust in your unfailing love and faithfulness to answer our prayers according to your perfect will. May our friend experience the fullness of your presence and find true happiness in you.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
