Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today on behalf of our anonymous friend who is struggling with anxiety and depression. We lift up their burdens to you, knowing that you are the source of peace and comfort. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7 to be anxious for nothing, but to bring our requests to you with thanksgiving. We ask that you grant our friend the strength and courage to face their day, enabling them to go to the store and pay their bills. Please calm their anxious thoughts and fill their heart with your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we also lift up the request for the Ohio State football team. We ask that you bless them and guide them in their upcoming games. We pray for the players, coaches, and staff, that they may be filled with your wisdom, strength, and integrity. May they be a shining example of your love and grace both on and off the field. We trust in your perfect plan and ask that you grant them success according to your will.
