We understand your concern as a parent, and we want to assure you that God cares about you and your toddler deeply. First, let's remember God's promise in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you" (WEB). God is always there to listen and to help us carry our burdens.
When we feel anxious, it's important to remember that God has a plan for each of us, including your toddler. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (WEB). Trusting in God's plan for your toddler's future can bring peace to your heart.
However, we want to gently remind you that worry and fear are not from God. As it says in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (WEB). When we find ourselves overwhelmed with anxiety, we should turn to God in prayer and ask for His peace.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today lifting up Azuiford and their toddler. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention in the toddler's behavior, and we pray that you would guide Azuiford with wisdom and discernment as they navigate parenthood. We cast all our anxieties on you, Lord, knowing that you care for us deeply. We claim your promise in Jeremiah 29:11, trusting that you have a plan and a future for this toddler. Help Azuiford to trust in you and to rest in your peace, which surpasses all understanding. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. He is always with you, and He will guide you through this journey of parenthood. Be encouraged by the words of Jesus in John 16:33, "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world" (WEB).
