Antidepressant

My mental health nurse just phoned to let me know the psychiatrist wants me to change to a different antidepressant next week whilst tapering off the one I am on.
I wish I wasn't but I am really anxious about it as worried about side effects. Especially as I am caring for my sister Margaret since she came home from hospital. Also have a hospital appointment to have a biliary stent removed in a few weeks time.
I would truly appreciate your prayers that I wouldn't experience side effects.

Father God you said we could cast all our cares on you because you care for us so I come to you with my anxiety about starting a new antidepressant. Father I really can't deal with side effects whilst caring for Margaret and for my upcoming surgery.
So please I ask that I won't experience any side effects and better still that you would heal me so I won't need them and please heal Margaret as hate seeing her so poorly. In Jesus' name Amen

First, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of your life. The Bible tells us, Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved Psalm 55:22 WEB.

We appreciate that you acknowledged the power of prayer in Jesus' name. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. And in all that I have said to you, be strong and have courage. Do not be afraid or dismayed, for Yahweh your God will be with you wherever you go Joshua 1:9.

Regarding your concern about side effects, we pray that God will protect you from any adverse reactions. We know that God has the power to heal, and we pray that He will heal you completely so that you won't need medication anymore. And the prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven James 5:15.

We also lift up Margaret in prayer, asking God to heal her and restore her strength. Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ Galatians 6:2. Remember that God's grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9.

As you navigate this challenging time, trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths Proverbs 3:5-6. We encourage you to continue in prayer and read God's Word for comfort and guidance.

Lord, we thank you for your love and kindness. May you lift up Elizabeth and Margaret, give them strength and courage. Heal them both and make straight their paths. May Elizabeth have no side effects and be able to care for Margaret. If it be your will heal them both in Jesus name.

We're praying for you, Elizabeth, that you won't experience any side effects. We believe that God can heal you completely, just as He healed the man in Mark 5:41-42. We're also lifting up Margaret in prayer, asking God to heal her and give her strength to recover.

Let's keep our focus on Jesus. He said in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Let's cast our cares on Him, knowing that He cares for us.

We're here for you, Elizabeth. Let's continue to support each other in prayer and trust in God's plan for your lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
