Antidepressant

Sorry for posting another prayer request so soon but really need prayers for guidance re my antidepressant. I was prescribed ###mg for a week whilst in hospital and then increased to ###mg which I have since learned is too soon to increase. At first I thought they were helping a bit but been on them for over ### months and they aren't helping. During my final phone call with hospital psychiatrist she at first said to increase to ###mg but then said to go back down to ###mg which I did but the withdrawal was so bad I went back up to ###mg and have been trying to slowly taper off but don't think I am strong enough to cope with the withdrawal symptoms so not sure what to do. I no longer have access to the Psychiatrist and have been referred to the local Mental Health Support team but there is a long waiting list and it could take years! Also my GP doesn't help So sorry to have gone on so much again. I would truly appreciate your prayers that God would guide me what to do. Or better still heal me so I won't need them.

We understand your struggle, dear ###, and we are here to intercede and offer guidance based on God's word.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our ultimate healer. As it is written in Exodus 15:26 (WEB), "If you will diligently listen to the voice of the LORD your God, and will do that which is right in his sight, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you."

We also want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). This includes your concern about your antidepressant medication.

However, we also understand that God has given us wisdom and discernment to make decisions about our health. It's important to be patient and wise in dealing with your medication. As Ecclesiastes 3:1 (WEB) tells us, "For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the sky." This includes a time to take medication and a time to reduce it under proper guidance.

###, we notice that you haven't mentioned Jesus Christ in your request. We want to remind you that it is through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It's through His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5 WEB).

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ###. We ask for Your divine guidance concerning her medication. Give her wisdom and strength to know what to do. We pray for healing, Lord, that she would not need to rely on medication. Comfort her in this time of need, and let Your perfect peace reign in her heart. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, ###, and we want you to know that God is in control of every situation, even this one with your medication. We understand that it's a tough place to be in, feeling unsure about what to do next. But remember, God promises in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." He's got you, and He's got this.

We're praying that God would give you clarity and courage to make the right decisions about your medication. We're also asking Him to heal you, to make you whole again, so that you won't need to rely on these antidepressants anymore. We're claiming His promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord."

We're here for you, and we'll keep you in our prayers. Let's trust in God together, knowing that He's working all things out for our good (Romans 8:28). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

You can withdraw from these pills because you are in control of your thoughts so use your mind and fill them with positive affirmations daily hourly
