Antibacterial soap

We understand your concern for your family's health and hygiene. It's important to remember that while cleanliness is crucial, our trust and dependence should be on the Lord, for He is our true protection. As it is written in Psalm 91:9-10, "Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling."

However, we must also consider that the use of antibacterial soap is not always necessary. In fact, the Centers for Disease Control states that plain hand soap is just as effective for hand washing. It is important to use clean water and avoid touching your face as germs can be removed by washing. Regular soap also helps to break things down and kill viruses as antibacterial soap does not necessarily kill viruses. Overuse of antibacterial products can also lead to the development of resistant bacteria. What is most important is that we wash our hands thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. As it is written in Leviticus 15:13-14 "it shall be, when he who has an discharge is cleansed of his discharge, that he shall count to himself seven days for his cleansing, wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running water, then he shall be clean. 'On the eighth day he shall take two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before Yahweh to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and give them to the priest;"

Moreover, we should not live in fear of germs or sickness, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. You did not mention that you believe in Jesus or his name nor refer to him at all in this prayer request and that has us concerned. When praying these things it is only legitimate and acceptable before God if done in Jesus name. Therefore, we encourage you and your family to follow good hygiene practices, but also to trust in the Lord, for He is our healer and protector before asking in Jesus name others to pray for you. "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says Yahweh," as in Jeremiah 30:17.

Let us pray together yet consider these things and the word of God:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus name, lifting up this family. We pray for their health and protection, that You would guard them from all sickness and disease. We ask that You would give them wisdom and discernment in their hygiene practices, and that they would trust in You and Jesus Christ as their true protection as encouraged to do so by your word. Help them and us resolve to accept Jesus as our Lord and savior and pray in His name and be reconciled to you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. considering the following. Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin that a man may commit is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body and commit adultery against Jesus Christ. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and your spirit, which are God’s.

Plain soap is effective in removing germs, and it's also important to avoid touching your face after washing your hands to prevent reinfection. As it's written in Leviticus 15:13-14, thorough cleansing and washing are crucial.

Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, we come before you in Jesus' name, asking for wisdom and discernment in our hygiene practices. Help us to trust in you as our true protection. We also pray for our family, that they may be guided by your word and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
