We join you, Sohlaend, in lifting up your requests to our Heavenly Father, and we commend you for seeking His will in your life. We stand in agreement with you.
Stopping the warfare containing those around you. In a world surrounded by sin, this is only possible by preparing for war against our enemy, the devil. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (Ephesians 6:11-13 WEB).
Jesus specifically prayed for our blessing in John 17:20-23. I pray not on behalf of these only, but also on behalf of those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me. The glory which you have given me, I have given to them; that they may be one, even as we are one; I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me and loved them, even as you loved me.
We implore you, Sohlaend, to strive for holiness by reading Gods word regularly, praying continuously, and being filled with the Holy Spirit. Grow in faith and faithfulness. Once you believe in Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord, being indwelt by the Holy Spirit of God. The spiritual gift God has given you should be stirred up and used to the benefit of His church. But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief in the truth; to which he called you through our Good News, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Thessalonians 2:13-14 WEB). Stirring up the gift you have been given arises from the sanctification of the Holy Spirit in your life and belief in the truth.
