Disciple of Prayer
Hi all. I'm not sure how to post a praise report. So I will do it here.
I asked the Lord a while ago to put a woman into my life. It has been a long time. I reminded God that He said, "It is not good for a man to be alone," somewhere in the Bible. So I asked to meet a woman for me. WELL, There is a woman that would come into the store I worked in like once a week. You know the first day I saw her, we smiled at each other and there was a pull inside. I really liked this woman. Anyway, I kept seeing her, "Hi, how are you, see you later" stuff. SO I went home one night, asked God to come to His throne of Grace. I did, I kneeled on the throne and talked directly to the Lord. Understand not like saying a bunch of prayer words all in my mind. NO, I talked directly to Our Father just as I would you. Well, you get my point. And trust me, He was there and He listened. I reminded Him of passages in the Bible, which I know I did not have to do, lol. Did it anyway. First, I told Him, Lord, I do not know why I feel this way for this woman, could you turn our hearts towards each other, Bring us together "###". Well, the discussion went on and on & people, I left the throne of Grace KNOWING my Father heard me and would answer. I knew the answer was yes already. I never use "if it be your will" why? Because that goes without saying. No, this is what my heart wants. He knows. Ok so 2 days later, who is standing in front of me? ###. We talked, I asked her out, she seemed surprised and said yes. All, the next 2 weeks or so was Nirvana. She said to me that she started praying to finally meet a man, She said she did not know why but I suddenly was strong in her heart. She said she always liked me but kept going. Miracle #1. Miracle 2 and the reason for my praise report.
Suddenly one night when we were together. We had an argument out of nowhere, we both said things we never would. I honestly felt like we were being harassed, attacked. She told me to leave and that's it. Bam. I could not believe this just happened. She didn't return my calls and my last vmail was I'm not chasing her. It was a horrible, horrible feeling. Here is the woman of my dreams, God's gift, gone. Well, I went to the Father, confessed my immature part in that fight. But days passed. I went to His throne of mercy again telling him I was confused. Father, I know you gave us each other. I know you don't make mistakes, please restore My girl and I. Your gift. Well, I posted on here 2. Tonight she called me, she said she is going crazy thinking about me. Missing me. Yes, well ditto I said. We talked and laughed once again. God has brought yet another miracle. We honestly I know have a love that is "given" we didn't create it, we were brought to it. A gift. Anyway THE LORD HEARS YOU. Talk to him not at him. I once asked Jesus, because I was going to these charismatic prayer meetings where people needed healing. I was not feeling comfortable with the. "LORD HEAL THIS WOMAN OR MAN" and then "IF IT'S YOUR WILL" I said Lord why does everyone always say that, if it's your will? It seems like a lack of faith or an excuse if it doesn't happen. I said Lord it goes without saying "if it's your will" of course. And I looked in the Bible and read that NOT ONCE. I heard Him say in my mind's ear. ALWAYS pray for a healing. Ask and believe. I am very sorry for this long letter. I hope somehow it has touched someone. Thank you ALL for your prayers. They work.
