Let us come together in prayer for Dorothy, who has been experiencing some shortness of breath lately. We stand in agreement, believing that our Lord Jesus Christ is the ultimate healer and comforter.
Firstly, we are thankful that the request acknowledges the power of Jesus' name. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray for Dorothy's healing.
In Matthew 8:16-17 WEB, we read: "When evening came, they brought to him many possessed with demons: and he cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying: 'He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.'" Jesus has the power to heal all our diseases, and we believe that He can touch Dorothy and restore her health.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Dorothy to You, asking for Your divine healing touch upon her life. Lord, You know her every need, and we trust that You are working all things together for her good.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity that may be causing this shortness of breath. By the stripes of Jesus, Dorothy is healed. We command her body to function normally, and we speak life and health over her.
Lord, please guide Dorothy and those caring for her, giving them wisdom and discernment regarding her health. Help her to be patient and to trust in Your goodness, even in this challenging time.
Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for being a very present help in times of trouble. We are confident that You will work a miracle in Dorothy's life, for Your glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Dorothy, be encouraged by the words of Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working everything out for your good, and rest in His love for you. Continue to seek His face and His will for your life. We are praying for you, dear sister in Christ.
