Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your wisdom and understanding regarding the Great White Throne judgment. We thank You for the opportunity to delve into Your Word and seek clarity on this matter.
Father, we acknowledge that Your Word states in Revelation 20:11-15 that the dead, both small and great, will stand before the throne for judgment. However, we understand that this passage specifically refers to the judgment of the unbelieving dead.
As we search Your Scriptures, we find that the living believers will not be present at the Great White Throne judgment. Instead, the judgment that awaits the living believers is the judgment seat of Christ, also known as the Bema Seat judgment. This judgment is described in 2 Corinthians 5:10, where it says, "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad."
Father, we pray for Steven Bobb and all believers who may have questions or concerns about the Great White Throne judgment. We ask that You grant them peace and assurance, knowing that as believers in Jesus Christ, their sins have been forgiven, and they have been justified by faith. Help them to understand that their judgment will be one of rewards and not condemnation.
We pray that You would strengthen their faith and encourage them to continue living a life that honors and glorifies You. May they remain steadfast in their devotion to You, knowing that their eternal destiny is secure in Christ Jesus.
Father, we thank You for Your grace and mercy, which allows us to approach You with our questions and seek understanding. We trust in Your wisdom and guidance, knowing that You will reveal truth to those who earnestly seek it.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
