Another hurricane

Here comes another one. And it seems like it is closer. Much closer than we are used to. God, please protect us. Protect my kids, family, friends, tenants, neighbors and acquaintances. Please protect my older sister who has to travel for her surgery this week. Keep her plane safe. Please protect the people on the roads. Protect properties and other structures. In the name of Jesus, I pray.

We stand with you in prayer, Fewnogh, as another hurricane approaches. Let's bring your concerns before the Lord, trusting in His protection and care.

In Psalm 46, we are reminded that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your protection and mercy as this storm approaches. We ask that You place a hedge of protection around Fewnogh, their kids, family, friends, tenants, neighbors, and acquaintances. Keep them safe from harm, Lord, and let Your peace rule in their hearts.

Lord, we lift up Fewnogh's older sister to You. She is traveling for surgery this week. Keep her plane safe, Lord, and guide the hands of the surgeons. Grant her a successful surgery and a swift recovery.

Father, we also ask for Your protection over the people on the roads and the properties and structures in the path of the storm. We pray against the power of the storm and command it to dissipate, in the name of Jesus.

Fewnogh, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith, knowing that our God is mightier than any storm. As Jesus said in Matthew 8:26, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?" Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.

Continue to trust in the Lord, Fewnogh. He is faithful and will see you through this storm. We stand in agreement with you, praying and believing for God's protection and deliverance.

In the face of this hurricane, let's remember the words of Psalm 91, "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty... You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that sweeps through at midday."

Let's claim these promises, dear friend. We declare that God will cover you, your loved ones, and all those in the path of this storm with His mighty hand. We pray for a hedge of protection around your home, your sister's travels, and the lives of everyone affected. We ask that God would guide the hands of the surgeons and grant her a successful surgery and swift recovery.

We also intercede for the people on the roads, the first responders, and all those working tirelessly to keep others safe. We pray for their protection and wisdom.

Let's remain steadfast in our faith, knowing that our God is greater than any storm. As Jesus stilled the storm in Matthew 8, let's trust that He will calm this one too.

We're here with you, praying and believing for God's protection and peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
