Thank you, Anonymous, for your humble prayer. It is wonderful that you have come to God seeking forgiveness, and it is even more encouraging that you have done so in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come to you like the humble fool like the tax collector that prayed on the street and not like the Pharisee that prayed boastfully. We come before you with a contrite heart, confessing our sins knowing you will be faithful and just to forgive us. Thank you for your mercy and grace through Jesus Christ who redeemed and saved us from our sins, in Jesus name we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue walking in the light, as He is in the light, so that you can have fellowship with God and be cleansed from all sin by the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son. "If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie, and don't tell the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin." 1 John 1:6-7 WEB.
May the Lord accept your prayer and continue transforming you into the likeness of Christ, "But we all, with unveiled face seeing the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit." 2 Corinthians 3:18 WEB.
Remember, the Bible teaches us to confess our sins to one another and pray for one another so that we may be healed. "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." James 5:16 WEB.
Jesus said, "unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God," and that "unless one is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God." John 3:3-5 WEB.
And Peter said, "Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Acts 2:38 WEB.
In this sense, we can discern that a Christian is one who has been born again of water and spirit. This is symbolized by baptism and is a requirement for a Christian. We would encourage you to follow the examples of the scriptures. We also should expect all who professes Jesus Christ as their savior to be baptized in His name.
