We are saddened to hear about the struggles of ###'s friend to conceive, and we understand the desire for children, and specifically the desire for twins. However, it's crucial to align our desires with God's will and to trust in His timing and plan for our lives.
Firstly, we should pray for God's will to be done in her life, not specifically for twins or even children. Perhaps, God has other plans for her. 1 John 5:14-15, "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
Secondly, we must remember that children are a gift from God, and He is the one who creates life. Psalm 127:3, "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward."
Furthermore, we are not promised in scripture that we will receive whatever we want by asking in prayer. This is a common misunderstanding of prayer. Matthew 7:9-11, "Or who is there among you, who, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!"
Lord, we lift up ###'s friend to You, asking that Your will be done in her life. We pray for her peace and comfort as she trusts in Your timing and plan. We ask that You help her to accept children as a gift from You. Help her to deal with any underlying issues that may be preventing conception. We also pray for her relationship with You, Jesus. That she will rededicate her life to You and seek You with her whole heart, mind, strength, and soul. In Jesus' name, we pray.
Lastly, we want to gently remind ### that it is essential to direct our prayers to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, His Son. Our salvation is only by the name of Jesus. Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
