We are truly sorry to hear about your ankle pain, Lancy. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to encourage you in the Lord.
Firstly, we want to remind you that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." It's important to take care of our bodies and to seek God's healing and wisdom when we face physical ailments.
In James 5:14-15, we are encouraged to pray for the sick, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Let us pray for you, Lancy:
"Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister Lancy. Lord, you know the pain she is experiencing in her ankle. We ask for your healing touch upon her body. We pray for wisdom for the doctors, and for a speedy recovery. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus' name. Lord, we also pray for Lancy's spiritual health, that she would continue to grow in her walk with you. If there is anything in her life that is not pleasing to you, we ask that you reveal it to her and give her the strength to turn away from it. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Lancy, remember that God loves you deeply and he cares about every aspect of your life, including your health. Keep your eyes fixed on him, trusting in his goodness and sovereignty. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is only by his name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We encourage you to keep this in mind in your prayer life. If you have any questions about this, we would be happy to discuss it further with you.
May the Lord bless you and keep you, Lancy. May his face shine upon you and give you peace.
