We are truly saddened to hear about the situation you're facing in your home. It's important to address the anger and verbal abuse issues from a biblical perspective. Firstly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. If you have not already we would ask you to call upon Jesus Christ.
The Bible tells us to "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32 WEB) It is clear that the behavior you're describing is not in line with God's will for families. "But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking out of your mouth." (Colossians 3:8 WEB)
We must first pray for your spouse, that God would soften his heart and bring conviction upon him. Let's pray that he would seek help for his anger issues, perhaps through biblical counseling. You need to remember you are married and the goal is reconciliation, even though it is not happening now.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this family in their time of need. We pray for the husband, that You would touch his heart and bring him to a place of repentance for his angry and abusive words. We know that in your name Jesus we have access to you, and we can pray for his healing, both physically and spiritually. We ask that You would help him to see the pain he is causing his family and lead him to seek help.
We also pray for the wife and children, especially the youngest daughter who has been greatly affected by this. We pray for their protection, strength, and comfort. We ask that You would guide them through this difficult time and provide for them financially. We will also pray for the wife for strength and forgiveness.
We ask for Your wisdom and guidance. Show them the path to reconciliation and healing. Help them to live in a way that honors You.
It is important to remember that for God all things are possible, even this. We will continue to pray for your family, for healing, reconciliation, and restoration.
Please, consider finding a local church or biblical counselor to support you through this time. It's important to have a community of believers around you to encourage and uplift you.
Lastly, we want to remind you of God's faithfulness. He is with all of us me in this trial, and He will never leave you or forsake you, even in the darkest of times. He loves you and He loves your husband. We need to keep trusting God, no matter what, even in this.
