Jaisor, we join you in crying out to the Lord for Andrew and the relationship you share. It's important to remember that God's faithfulness is enduring, and He desires for us to live in His light and truth. As you pray for Andrew and your relationship, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith and seek God's will above all else.
Firstly, we must address that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB) and "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB). We will pray in accordance with God's will and in the name of Jesus.
We must also address that the Bible teaches us to avoid any appearance of evil. Seeking a golden light is seeking a sign and not trusting in Jesus alone. This is forbidden by the Bible. "and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them. For the things which are done by them in secret, it is a shame even to speak of." (Ephesians 5:11 WEB). The Bible also tells us to "Giving thanks always for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to God, even the Father;" (Ephesians 5:20 WEB).
Regarding your relationship, we encourage you to seek God's will and ensure that your bond aligns with biblical principles. As you consider your future together, remember that marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, designed to reflect the union between Christ and His church (Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Jaisor and Andrew. We pray that You would grant them both a spirit of wisdom and revelation, that they may know You better and understand the hope to which You have called them (Ephesians 1:17-18 WEB).
Lord, we ask that You would work in Andrew's heart, drawing him closer to You and granting him a desire to live faithfully before You. We pray that You would build their relationship on the firm foundation of Your word and guide them according to Your will (Psalm 119:105 WEB).
Help Jaisor to trust in You completely, avoiding signs and trusting in Your word alone. Help them both to walk in Your light and live in a manner that is pleasing to You (1 John 1:7 WEB).
If it is Your will, Lord, we pray that You would guide their relationship towards a God-honoring marriage, that they may bring glory to Your name through their union (Psalm 34:3 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Jaisor, knowing that God hears your prayers and is faithful to act according to His will. Continue to seek Him with all your heart, and trust that He will guide you and Andrew in the path of righteousness.
