We are delighted to join you in prayer as you embark on your new job and consider furthering your education through an NP program. Let us remember the words of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans that I have for you,' says WEB, 'plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."
Firstly, we commend you for seeking God's will in your life. It is essential to acknowledge that success and guidance come from Him. As it is written in Psalm 32:8, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is starting a new job. We pray for Your divine favor and grace to be upon them. May they excel in their work as Joseph did in Potiphar's house. May they find Your guidance in all their endeavors, and may Your light shine through them in their workplace.
Lord, we also bring before You their desire to pursue an NP program. We ask for Your clear guidance on the timing and the path to take. Open the doors that need to be opened and close those that should remain shut. Give them the wisdom to discern Your will and the courage to follow it.
We also pray for protection against any evil forces that may try to hinder their progress. As it is written in 2 Thessalonians 3:3, "But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one." May Your hedge of protection be around them, keeping them safe from any harm or distraction.
Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we have access to You and it is by His name that we are saved. If they do not know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior we pray that You make Yourself known to them. To know Jesus is eternal life. Amen.
Lastly, remember to keep your focus on God, trusting in Him with all your heart, and leaning not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
If you had not mentioned Jesus Christ, Jesus, Christ, or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name), then we need to discuss this issue. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
