Let us join together in lifting up this woman, her husband, and their children in prayer, seeking God's will for their lives.
We pray that their home will be filled with the goodness of God, that His love will abound in their hearts, and that they will experience the peace that surpasses all understanding. As the apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 4:7, "May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We ask for God's healing touch upon each family member, that they may enjoy good health and happiness. May His joy be their strength, as it is written in Nehemiah 8:10, "Then he said to them, Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared; for today is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved; for the joy of the LORD is your strength."
We pray for God's comfort and blessings to be upon them, that they may prosper in all that they do. May they find comfort in the words of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
However, we must remind everyone that true joy, peace, and happiness can only be found in a right relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God. Romans 10:9: "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." It is only through the name of Jesus that we can be saved. Acts 4:12: "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
May the wife be a godly woman, respectful to her husband, and loving to her children. May the husband lead his family with wisdom, and may their children grow in the fear and admonition of the Lord.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up this family. We ask for Your goodness, love, peace, health, happiness, joy, comfort, and blessings to be upon them. Help them to seek You first, and to find their joy and peace in You alone. We pray that the wife may be a Proverbs 31 woman, that the husband may lead with wisdom, and that their children may grow to be mighty warriors in Your Kingdom. We ask all of these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
