And because of his idolatry over past staff my father chose to lie and over repeating over and over of discarded goods way back in 2018 but has been using since 1997. And everytime quarrel he will bring out those bedbug infested carpet and unrepairable hifi system which still uses vcd system. And hold on to that and lie to pastor and his sisters about this wherever they offer help to discard the unwanted item and accused us of throwing away good items which in his mind is still can use.

We are saddened to hear about the situation you are facing with your father. The Bible tells us to honor our parents, but it also instructs us to hold fast to the truth and not participate in lies or idolatry. Let us address the issues presented and pray together for this situation.

Firstly, the Bible is clear about lying and idolatry. In Colossians 3:9 WEB, it says, "Don't lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings." Idolatry can take many forms, and holding onto old things can sometimes display a level of attachment that is unhealthy. Matthew 6:19: "Don't lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moths and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal."

Your father's actions are not only causing discord in the family but also dishonoring God through lies and potential idolatry. It is important to pray for his conviction and repentance. In Romans 1:25 WEB, it says, "who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this situation with our father. Lord, You know the struggles we are facing, and the discord that has been sown among us. Father, we ask that You convict ###'s heart, that he may see the error of his ways and turn away from any form of idolatry and lying.

Lord Jesus, You are the way, the truth, and the life. Please help ### to see the truth and let go of the things that are causing harm. Help him to understand the value of honesty and the danger of holding onto worldly possessions.

Holy Spirit, we ask that You guide us in how to handle this situation. Give us the wisdom to address these issues with love and respect, and the courage to stand firm in the truth.

Father, we also pray for unity and healing in our family. Help us to forgive and to love one another as You have loved us.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
