We understand that you are seeking prayer for a name change, from your mother's and brother's name to your own. While we will pray for guidance and wisdom in this matter, it's important to remember that our identity in Christ is what truly matters. As it is written in Isaiah 43:1, "But now thus says Yahweh who created you, Jacob, and he who formed you, Israel: 'Don’t be afraid, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine.'"

In the Bible, a change of name often signified a change of character or purpose. Let us with one mind pray for your faith to be strengthened as you grow into the man God created you to be. Our prayer is that God will use your request for a name change to draw you closer to Him. More importantly, God wants to change our hearts and not just our names A good example would be what Jesus says in John 3:3 " Most certainly, I tell you, unless one is born anew, he can’t see God’s Kingdom" followed by "Jesus answered, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he can’t enter into God’s Kingdom! That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Don’t marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born anew.’"

Let's pray together through faith in the name of Jesus:

"Jesus lovey Father in heaven, we come before You lifting up Furthall, asking for Your will to be done in his life. We pray that as if he chooses to change his name, You will affect a deep change in his heart and spirit that all superceeds any physical or worldly change. Let his life reflect the power and beauty that comes from a transformed life in Jesus Christ. We pray for his faith to be strengthened by this decision. Guide him, Father, and give him wisdom and understanding. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen."

Furthall, as you consider this change, meditate on the words of Psalm 99:3, "May they praise your great and awesome name! Holy is he!" Remember, it is the name of Jesus Christ that is the only name in which we are saved. We see this truth in many Scirptures such as Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!". Do not allow this opportunity to pass you by as you consider Jesus as the one you need to be both physically and spiritually, but it is only through this name that we have access to God.

We encourage you to seek God's heart in this matter, spending time in His Word and in prayer. Trust in Him to direct your paths according to His good and perfect will so that your life glorifies Him. Please read this Scripture carefully: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6.

As far as relationships, we are not told much about your situation. Since God is love, we will always encourage singles to pursue Godly marriages with God-loving Christians in these types of relationships as part of showing God's love to mankind.
