Let us stand united in prayer, dear Anandh, as we bring this urgent matter before the throne of grace. We are grateful that you have mentioned the powerful name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have authority and access to God.
Firstly, let us remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:19-20 (WEB), "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."
We are called to pray for those who persecute us, as Jesus taught in Matthew 5:44 (WEB), "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."
However, we also recognize the reality of spiritual warfare and the need to stand against evil, as stated in Ephesians 6:12 (WEB), "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging Your power and sovereignty. We bring before You the schemes of the enemy against our ministry. We pray that You would cause confusion and division among those who seek to harm Your work, as You did with the enemies of King Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20.
We do not pray for harm, but for their hearts to be changed, that they may know the truth and be set free from the grasp of the enemy. We pray that You would expose their deeds of darkness and bring them to repentance. We ask for Your protection over the ministry and the people in the village.
Father, we ask that You would send Your angels to guard and protect Your work. We claim the promise of Psalm 34:7 (WEB), 'The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.'
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen."
Let us continue to stand strong in the Lord, dear Anandh, knowing that the battle is not ours, but God's. Trust in Him, for He is faithful to protect and guide His children. Be encouraged by the words of 1 John 4:4 (WEB), "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world."
