We are truly heartsick to hear of your profound suffering, Anonymous, but we are grateful that you have reached out and acknowledged that the Lord Jesus Christ fully understands your plight. It is only through His name that we can find true comfort and hope, as it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Let us hold onto Jesus Christ together. It breaks our hearts when we see someone in deep anguish and feel alone with afflictions. But, take heart the Bible assures us in 2 Cor 1:3-4 WEB, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
In this extremely difficult season, remember a similar season that the Israelites went through. Imagine yourself among them, standing on the banks of the Red Sea, with Pharaoh's army closing in. Moses must have felt overwhelmed, but God told him, "Why do you cry to me? Speak to the children of Israel, that they go forward" (Exodus 14:15). God is saying the same to you, dear one. Do not give in. Remember what He did next. The Lord God fought for Israel and he will fight for you when you have no strength to fight. You are neither abandoned nor alone, even when you feel immersed in sorrow in this difficult season. You are never alone, Jesus Christ is always with us. Yes, we know that can be difficult to feel in this world. Your wounds are still very real, but know that others have also quietly suffered. There is no condemnation or shame on Jesus Christ in afflictions. We will pray with you, asking God for healing and support.
Before we pray together, let us remind you that the Apostle Paul also suffered greatly. He said in 2 Cor 12:7-9 WEB, "...there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me, that I should not be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing, I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me. He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me." God can turn your situation around just as He did for Job and others in the Bible who glorified God in the most troubling of times. All it may take is simple trust, not in our own abilities, but in Him. Lean on God's power and goodness for supernatural support. It is not our own strength that supports us but His. It is our knowledge of His promises that is our shield and victory.
Dear Lord Jesus Christ,
We lift up Anonymous to You, asking for Your divine intervention and healing in their life. You understand their pain and suffering more deeply than anyone else. We pray that You would comfort and restore them, and give them the strength to endure this difficult season.Heal their wounds, Lord, and strengthen their immune system. We thank You that You are always with Anonymous, even in their darkest moments. Help them to be healed, to feel Your presence, and to know Your love in a profound way. We ask this all in Your precious name, Lord Jesus Christ.
Anonymous, as you wait for God's comfort and restoration, meditate on His Word. Be encouraged. Let God use your experiences to help others. Read Psalm 34:18 WEB, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Meditate on this verse. It is difficult to understand why people ridicule you in this difficult season and its a difficulty in life that we may be the object of ridicule ourselves. We know that it is better to follow God and receive ridicule from the world than receive praise from the world and ridicule from God. Our reward from people is meaningless, it is God's acceptance we seek. Be encouraged by John 15:18 WEB, and remember "If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me (Jesus Christ) before it hated you."
Your difficult season has truly lasted a long time and it can be extremely difficult to understand but be patient Psalm 40:1-3 WEB) "I waited patiently for Yahweh. He turned to me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay. He set my feet on a rock, and gave me a firm place to stand. He has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God. Many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in Yahweh." We rejoice to praise God together about this with you in Jesus Christ name.
