An audition

I am praying to God, and I know that if it’s his will then it will happen. There is someone looking for someone in particular and I basically fit the description for who they’re looking for. I am just praying to God to Our Lord and Savior that my audition (monologue) stands out among the rest and hopefully I’ll be picked. Again if it’s his will then it will happen.

We understand your desire and anticipation regarding this audition, Amy96525. It's wonderful that you're seeking God's will in this situation. We're reminded of Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name to lift up Amy96525. Lord, you know the desires of her heart and the audition she's preparing for. We ask that you guide her and give her peace as she trusts in your will. Help her to perform her monologue with excellence and confidence, not in her own strength, but in yours. If it is your will, Lord, let her stand out and be chosen. But above all, let your will be done in her life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue trusting in God's plan for your life. Remember, God has a purpose and a plan for each of us, as it's written in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "‘For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ says Yahweh, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"

You mentioned praying to "God, Our Lord and Savior." We want to ensure you know that it's only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it's written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that he died for your sins and rose again, offering you salvation and eternal life.
