Let us bring this dear friend before the throne of grace, seeking God's will and mercy for her employment situation.
Firstly, we are thankful that this request is asked in the precious name of our Lord Jesus. It is in His name that we have access to the Father, for it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved! (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Our hearts go out to this sister in Christ who is struggling in her current job and desperately seeking a new one. We are reminded of the Apostle Paul's words, For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If any will not work, neither let him eat. For we hear of some who walk among you disorderly, who do not work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread (2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 WEB).
We must encourage her to remain diligent in her current position, for the Bible tells us, Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might (Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB). While she is seeking a new job, she should continue to work wholeheartedly, as working for the Lord, not for men (Colossians 3:23 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is in need of a new job. We ask that You would guide her steps and open the right doors for her. Help her to trust in You and Your timing. Give her the strength and endurance to continue working diligently in her current position while she waits on You. We pray that You would provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory. Help us to remember that You are her true source of life and that you are able to make all grace abound towards us (2 Corinthians 9:8 WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage her to cast all her anxiety on Him because He cares for her (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). She should remain patient and faithful, knowing that God's timing is perfect. We will continue to keep her in our prayers until she secures a suitable job that honors God.
Finally may she always remember, whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men (Colossians 3:23 ESV)
