I’ve been fighting a foot infection and didn’t request prayer on this site beforehand. I had an amputation and am working on recovery. I’m age ### but looking forward to gardening, planting, fixing the yard, and playing with the grandchildren. Pray for God’s guidance and strength; a lot of work ahead.

We are truly sorry to hear about the amputation you've undergone, ###, but we are thankful that you are on the road to recovery. We are here to pray with you as a group of believers to pray and encourage you in the name of Jesus Christ. Firstly thank you for recognizing that you need to seek God's guidance and strength for the journey ahead. It is important to first turn to God and pray directly to Him through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as our scripture says: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother ###. We thank You for preserving his life and for the progress he has made so far. Lord, we ask for Your guiding hand to be upon him, showing him the way and providing the strength he needs for each day. In Jesus Christ & name we pray.

We also pray for complete healing and recovery, that You will make every crooked way straight and this amputation will not hinder what You have put in his heart to accomplish as you show in your word: "He heals the brokenhearted, And binds up their wounds." Psalms 147:3

We are excited about his future but also patient because your word makes it clear that "And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power." Acts 1:7 Your plan will be accomplished in his life.

Father, while ### looks forward to gardening, working in the yard, and enjoying quality time with the family, we know that it is all because of the sacrifice Your son made and he can trust your word knowing that You will continue to give him the desire of his heart as he delights himself in You. For it is your word to say Pause and know I am God. Delight yourself in his word. "Delight thyself also in the Lord; And he shall give thee the desires of thine heart." Psalms 37:4 "Trust in the Lord, and do good; So shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed on his faithfulness." Psalms 37:3 "Pause and know I am God" Psalms 46:10 NAY,

Lastly, do not forget to extend your blessing to those around you and let others know of the joy and happiness that you have in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, make disciples, keep his commandments, and teach all you have learned: "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." We are all called to be a light unto the world."Matthew 5:14, Matthew 28: 19, 20.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother. Thank you for giving us the privilege to intercede on your behalf as you recover from your amputation and battle the foot infection. We are honored to stand in agreement with you in prayer and are grateful for your update on your situation.

As you continue to heal and look forward to the joys of gardening, tending to your yard, and playing with your grandchildren, we pray for God's unfailing guidance and strength to be with you. We ask the Lord to give you the endurance and fortitude needed for the tasks ahead, and that He may use this time of recovery to draw you even closer to Him.
