Dear Father Jesus, I want to pray for a man, his name is ###. Father, I don't know him. But I met him once, father, and it was really unexpected. But father, after I met him and his family, it was like a dream for me because as I wanted it was the same, father. But father, that guy is going through so much. He got divorced, father. He loved his ex-wife so much, still he loves her, father. But his ex-wife cheated on him, and they both got divorced. Please, father, break all the soul ties between him and his ex-wife in Jesus' name. Father, please heal him completely. He is going through depression, anxiety, and scaredness. Father, his family are so good, and they want to see their son happy and to get remarried with a nice girl so he can forget his ex-wife and he can start a new life. Please, father, please heal him, please recover him. He is mentally destroyed himself. He can’t be able to trust anyone, he can’t be able to move forward in his life. He is so scared of marriages, father. Please, father, give him strength to move forward in his life and please send godly women in his life. Please, father, if it is your will that me and ### can get married, then I promise you, father, that I will take him to the church and will pray together, and I will teach him about Jesus Christ. Because father, we are Hindu. As I learned to pray, same like I will teach him to pray and to believe in Jesus. Father, please send the Holy Spirit and change his heart completely and give him a chance to get married with a godly woman. Father, I met him once, and I think it was not proper from my side. I think he didn’t like my first impression, so I would like to request you, father, please give us one more chance to meet once again and then to take decisions about the future. Please, father, if it is your will, please give me one more chance to meet him and to know each other well. Father, I just want to see him happy. I want him to forget everything and come back as a strong person. I want to help him, father. If he at least starts talking to me, I would like to encourage him, and I will give positive thoughts, father. Please remove all the negativity from his mind, heart from everywhere, just show him the right path, father. Please, father, he is taking therapy to heal himself. Please, father, he is not getting healed by therapy. He is just getting influenced by the therapist as they are saying he is doing that. Please, father, I want to show him that God is real. I want to show him a miracle. I want to teach him how to pray. Please, father, give me that opportunity so he can at least start talking to me. Please soften his heart towards me. Please send him to me, father. Please, father, just stop him from going to the therapist completely in Jesus' name. Father, please stop him from thinking about his ex-wife and remove her completely from his life. Please, father, stop him from thinking about his ex-wife. Please heal him fully. Father, his parents are so worried about him because he is being so depressed, so they want him to get remarried so he can move on and he can start a new life happily. Father, me and that guy met for a marriage purpose only. I liked everything, father. Both the families liked each other, even I liked the guy, but that guy is so scared. He can’t be able to take a new step in his life. He can’t be able to trust anyone. Please, father, you take care of him. Please send angels to protect him from bad things. Please send all the positive thoughts to him. And I wish that guy listens to his parents and respects their decisions because his parents are thinking good for him. Please remove all the stress from his body. Please give us the opportunity to meet once again and to know each other and get interested in each other, father. I pray all in the name of Jesus. Let us pray together for this man and his family, as well as for you and your intentions. We appreciate that you have brought these concerns to us in Jesus' name.

Firstly, we must address the issue of divorce and the pain it has caused. Divorce is not God's ideal. God's will is for marriage to be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. This is clearly outlined in the Bible:
Because the Lord has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously, though she is your companion, and the wife of your covenant. Malachi 2:14 WEB

And He answered, “Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.” Matthew 19:4-6 WEB

However, because of the hardness of your hearts Moses allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery.” Matthew 19:8-9 WEB

Adultery is a serious sin, and it has caused significant pain and suffering in this situation. Let us pray for healing and forgiveness, even, and perhaps especially, for the ex-wife who is guilty of such a grievous sin.

Father, we lift up this man to You, asking for Your healing and comfort. Break all soul ties between him and his ex-wife, and help him to forgive and move forward. Heal his heart, Lord, and help him to trust again. Remove all depression, anxiety, and fear from his life, and give him the strength to move forward.

We also pray for you and your intentions. We appreciate your desire to help this man and to teach him about Jesus Christ. However, we must caution you about a few things. First, be careful and wise in your interactions with him. While your intentions may be pure, it is important to avoid any appearance of evil and be open and aboveboard in all your interactions. Becoming a Christian and believing in Jesus Christ is a very important and personal decision for him to make. You may be used by God as a seed planter or waterer, but God is the one who gives the increase.

1 Corinthians 3:6-7 WEB: I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.

I planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

We also urge you to be careful in praying for a future together. While it is commendable that you want to help him and that you liked him and his family, be careful and wise in praying for a shared future. It is important to seek God's will in all things. We do recommend you terminate praying for this relationship and instead pray for God to make you into the woman He wants you to be. Also, keep in mind that you are not the Holy Spirit, and it is not your job to convict him of sin or change his heart.

Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

While we are told in the scriptures that a woman is not the head of a man, she is not his counsellor, and she is not to usurp authority over a man. So please be careful that you do not put yourself into a position with this man that would be counter to the scriptures.

Ephesians 5:22-24 WEB: Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.

We certainly encourage you to pray for this man and his salvation, but we also urge you to be cautious in your interactions and prayers. Leave room for God to work, and be open to His will, whatever it may be. If it is God's will for you to have a future together, then trust that He will make a way. But if it is not His will, then trust that He has someone else in mind for you.

We also must address the issue of his unbelief and Hinduism. While it is commendable that you want to teach him about Jesus Christ, remember that it is the Holy Spirit's job to convict and convert, not yours. Be wise and gracious in your interactions, and remember that God is the one who saves, not you.

Acts 4:12 WEB: “There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”

We are saved only by the name of Jesus Christ. The importance of Jesus Christ in salvation is not just one of many ways to be saved. It is the only way to be saved.

It is wonderful that you are learning to pray and that you want to teach others to do the same. Keep learning and growing in your faith, and trust that God will use you to bless others.

Finally, we must address the issue of therapy. While therapy can be helpful in some cases, it is not always the best solution, especially when it comes to matters of the heart and spirit. We urge you to be cautious in your prayers regarding therapy and to seek God's will in all things.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this man to You, asking for Your healing and comfort. Break all soul ties between him and his ex-wife, and help him to forgive and move forward. Heal his heart, Lord, and help him to trust again. Give him the strength to move forward. Help him to heal through this time of stress and difficulty.

We also pray for the one who submitted this request. We pray that you will make her into the woman you want her to be, prepare her for her future husband and the role of wife, mother, and homemaker. May she be trusting in You and that You will prepare the way for her. Help her to be wise and gracious in her interactions with this man, and help her to trust in Your will, whatever it may be.

Please, Father, if it is Your will, then help us to show him that You are real and that You can perform miracles. We want to teach him how to pray, Father, and give us the opportunity to do so.
