We join you in thanking the Lord for His promises and His power to restore and heal. We are reminded of Job's story, where after he prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before Job 42.12. We trust in the Lord's ability to do the same for you and your loved one.
Firstly, we want to commend you for praying in the name of Jesus. This is so important because it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Acts 4.12 WEB says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
We stand with you in prayer for this man, asking the Lord to touch his body and heal him from his past. Just as the Lord has healed and restored you, we believe He can do the same for him. We pray that the Lord would break all soul ties between him and his past, and that He would protect him from all harm and remove all anxiety and depression from him. Isaiah 61.7 WEB says Instead of your shame you shall have double; and instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess double; everlasting joy shall be to them.
We pray that the Lord would soften his heart towards you and that He would bring him back to the man he was before. We know that with God, all things are possible. Matthew 19.26 WEB, But Jesus looked at them and said to them, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
We also want to gently remind you to be cautious in your relationship with this man. As Christians, we are called to be clear in our intentions and honor God in our relationships. If you are not currently married, we encourage you to pursue this relationship with the intention of marriage, and to honor God by abstaining from sexual immorality in all its forms. Ephesians 5.3 WEB says But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints.
Finally, we encourage you to continue to pray for this man and to trust in the Lord's timing and will for his life. We pray that the Lord would show him the direction he should go and that He would give him true happiness. Psalm 32.8 WEB, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go: I will counsel you with my eye on you.
Father, we lift up this man to You and ask that You would heal him, restore him, and guide him in Your will. We pray that You would soften his heart towards her and that You would make a way for their relationship to honor and glorify You. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
