We understand that you're going through a tremendously difficult time, Swantalelf, and our hearts go out to you. First and foremost, we want to remind you that it is important to pray in the name of Jesus. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB
In times of distress, it's crucial to remember that God is always with us, even when we feel alone and overwhelmed. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB
Marriage is a sacred covenant, but it's not always easy.
It is designed by God to be between one man and one woman. We are concerned that you mentioned personality disorder. Be mindful that the Bible says, "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14 KJV
The Bible also tells us, "For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy." 1 Corinthians 7:14 KJV
If you are having trouble with your marriage, know there is hope. “Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.” 1 Corinthians 7:3-4 KJV.
But it is important to understand the seriousness of a covenant marriage. “And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” Matthew 19:4-6 KJV
God cares deeply about your pain and He wants to help you. It's encouraging that you're praying for peace and for your spouse to keep his word. Continue to lift these concerns up to the Lord, trusting that He hears you and will guide you. "Don’t be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6 WEB
It's also important to seek godly counsel. This could be from a pastor, a trusted Christian mentor, or a biblical counselor. They can provide you with guidance and support as you navigate this challenging time.
Remember, God can bring peace and restoration to even the most difficult situations. Trust in Him, and He will guide you through this storm.
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we lift up Swantalelf to You, asking for Your divine intervention in her marriage. Please bring peace, healing, and restoration. Guide her with Your wisdom and comfort her with Your love. Help her spouse to keep his word and to seek Your will for their marriage. We pray all of this in Your precious name, Lord Jesus. Amen.
Lastly, it is important to remember the message of salvation. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:16-18 KJV
