We understand that you're going through a difficult time and have strong feelings of anger and resentment. However, as followers of Christ, we are called to a different standard. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you."
It's important to remember that God calls us to love and forgive our enemies, as difficult as that may be. In Matthew 5:44, Jesus says, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,"
Let's pray together for you and for the person you're struggling with.
Dear Lord, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Swantalelf. We know that the battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. We pray for Your healing and peace in Swantalelf's heart. We ask that You help them to forgive and release any bitterness and anger. We also pray for the person they are struggling with, that You would soften their heart and bring conviction and change. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ.
We encourage you to spend time in prayer, seeking God's will and strength to forgive. Remember, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9) He will also help our unforgiveness and guide us to wholeness, freedom, and joy. We are here for you.
